The Claire Dress

I made this dress a while ago, but didn't have anyone in mind for it. I just thought the pattern was cute and wanted to try it. My niece, Sadie, finally fits into it, and I was able to get some pictures taken.

I made my own bias tape for the first time. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would have been. I appliquéd the cherries on it with my embroidery machine.

The ties are meant to resemble petals.
